The objective of Privex Capital is to focus on those businesses which satisfy most of the earnings multiple variables related to the business itself in light of current and projected Private Equity Investment Trends.  We will then consider the financial performance of the business as well as its strategic value and contribution to the overall group.  The value we place on the business will then be based on a normalization of its earnings while adjusting for standard tax expense and any asset impairment.

Privex Capital seeks certain businesses that meet most of the earnings multiple variables related to the business itself in light of current and projected Private Equity Investment Trends.

Except under unique circumstances, or as part of a specific “bolt on strategy” the business also should meet most of the following financial criteria:

  • Adjusted EBITDA of at least $2.5 million or pretax profit of at least $1.5 million

  • 3+ years of profitability

  • Stable sources of recurring revenue

  • Identifiable opportunities for growth

  • Solid core management team

  • Minimal customer concentration

Typically we are best aligned with:

  • An owner wanting a financial partner to accelerate business growth and ultimately to manage a much larger organization

  • A serial entrepreneur who wants to sell so they can take on their next venture

  • An owner wanting to reduce some or all of their ownership stake yet continue to work in their business

  • An owner wanting to retire and exit the business
